Ùrachadh is a two part show which journies across four centuries of music; weaving together the history, songs & tunes along with images and voices from this vast and beautiful northern area of Scotland. Born of Taigh na Gàidhlig Mhealanais - a community group working to promote Gaelic locally - Ùrachadh brought together five accomplished musicians from Sutherland & Caithness who worked alongside the committee and director Dr. Donald Uilleam Stewart to create an event which proudly showcases the areas people, landscape, language and the vitality of its music.
