Pipe Major Bruce Campbell began piping as a young boy, taught by Pipe Major John M MacKenzie at the legendary Queen Victoria School,Dunblane, Scotland. Originally from Edinburgh he comes from a long established Argyllshire piping family. In 1971 he enlisted as a piper in the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards and the following year was part of that band when its phenomenal record ‘Amazing Grace’ hit the top of the hit parade.
Since then he has served as pipe major of The Sultan of Oman’s Royal Guard Brigade and also of the Royal Australian Regiment as well as a number of civilian bands.
Released in 2010 this album with 17 fabulous tracks.
